You’ve got questions, I’ve got answers. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll find it. I work full-time as a general lines insurance agent at Mitchell Insurance Agency in Lakeland, Florida. Our agency has been in business for over 50 years.

I’ve started this site to help regular people understand insurance in regular terms. The insurance world is hard to understand. There are so many terms and conditions. I like to think of myself as a regular guy, I just happen to understand a lot of this stuff and I want you to understand it too. I need your feedback. I want to make this the best insurance advice website on the internet. I’m just getting started on the development of this site. How can I meet your needs as a consumer? Do you find our articles easy to read or should we try to use less “insurance jargon”? One of my goals is for this site to be helpful to someone who knows nothing about insurance. We all need it, so we all need to understand it too.

Though I do my best to be as accurate as possible, keep in mind that laws change. Though this site is updated often, I can not be responsible for information that may be out of date. Also, I am not licensed to answer any questions regarding Life or Health Insurance. I do have Life and Health agents who work with me and in some cases I may request their advice in order to help you. I am also not a lawyer and can not give you that kind of advice either.

Lastly, I do not intend to answer any questions related to any specific insurance companies. Every insurance company has different guidelines and different ways that they operate. I only want to help you understand your insurance. So I can not comment on anything specific to a particular company, only the insurance industry as a whole.
